My friend Ems who now lives in the US just informed me that today they will go to an open field to witness some fireworks display and have a little picnic with her family. So i responded " Wow! that is so exciting and cool " because i do love watching fireworks display either. And i wondered why, so she reminded me that " Hey girl its our Independence day! " . So then, it brings up to my memory the date, that every year on July 4th is the anniversary of the day in 1776 when the American colonies signed the Declaration of Independence. Yeah! a little history here that the people in United States including kids and even grownups celebrate the event with bands and parades, picnics, barbecues and fireworks. A holiday that is very significant to all Americans and worthy of commerations and parties. Well, Emz i greet your family and your countrymen a wonderful celebration. Cheers!
